1 · PortStop 1 — The starting point
The Explanada and the port
Six million rippling marble tiles under the palms: the Explanada is the city's most famous promenade and the best possible warm-up. Next door, the marina with its sailboats and terraces.

2 · CastleStop 2 — The secret road

At the castle's feet, the postcard old town: whitewashed lanes, blue flowerpots, bougainvillea and stairways climbing to the hermitage. Alicante's most photographed corner.
Park below, near the town hall, and wander it slowly on foot — fifteen minutes of pure Mediterranean.

Postiguet and the corniche
The city beach beneath the castle, then every local rider's favourite stretch: the avenue climbing along the Serra Grossa with the sea below.
Five minutes of corniche worth the whole loop. At the end, La Albufereta and the turn-off to the cape.
5 · The capeStop 5 — The local secret
The Cabo de las Huertas lighthouse
White rock, transparent coves and a lonely lighthouse ten minutes from the centre. No public transport reaches it: the privilege of two wheels.
Packed swimwear? Cala Cantalars is five minutes on foot. If not, the lighthouse photo alone justifies the detour.
6 · CentreStop 6 — The tasty finale
Central Market and the tapas run
Close the loop where Alicantinos eat: the Central Market and its surrounding streets, where the evening terrace ritual starts at eight and the bars compete in cured fish and vermouth.
The scooter fits where cars don't even try: park by the market and drift from bar to bar.

The tardeo — the long Spanish terrace afternoon — is a local sport. Calle Castaños is its stadium: arrive at 7 pm and flow.
The Santa Cruz hermitage
The white balcony over the old town rooftops, fifteen minutes' walk up from the quarter. The Alicante photo fewest tourists have.
