Alicante's city centre is manageable even for less experienced riders. Our Kymco Skytown 125 has ABS brakes and automatic transmission. We provide a full helmet and hi-vis vest, and walk you through the scooter before you leave.
What's the minimum age to rent a 125cc scooter?
21 years old with a category B car licence (held for at least 3 years), or 19 years old with a motorcycle licence A1, A2 or A.

Yes, our minimum rental is 1 day at €35. The daily rate drops the longer you keep the scooter.
What happens if the scooter breaks down or I have an accident?
Contact us immediately by phone or WhatsApp. If anyone is injured, call 112 first. Don't leave the scooter unattended unless necessary, and gather details if it's an accident.
Scooter, bike or car — what's the best way to explore Alicante?
For a solo traveller or a couple, a scooter beats a car on parking, price and flexibility, and covers far more ground than a bicycle — useful once you want to reach San Juan beach, El Campello or further along the coast.
Do you rent motorcycles or only scooters?
We rent 125cc scooters — light motorcycles in Spain. Our fleet is the Kymco Skytown 125 ABS (automatic). You can rent with motorcycle licence A1, A2 or A (from age 19), or car licence B held for at least 3 years (from age 21). Handover: Alicante centre/hotel or cruise port included; outside Alicante +€35 in served zones.
How much time do I need from the cruise terminal?
Allow 5 minutes’ walk from the pedestrian exit to the meeting point, plus about 15 minutes for documents and briefing. Always keep a 90-minute buffer before all-aboard for drop-off and the walk back. Port handover is included, with no surcharge.
What is the best season to ride a scooter on the Costa Blanca?
March–June and September–November: 18–28°C and fewer crowds. July–August is hot but workable with an early start. December–February is mild (12–18°C) and ideal for longer stays, with quieter roads.
Is scooter riding safe for travellers aged 60 or 70+?
Yes. The Kymco Skytown 125 ABS is automatic (no gears), light and has ABS brakes. Choose quieter routes: avoid the N-332 morning rush, stay on the coastal road. A large share of our guests are 50+. We explain the bike calmly before you leave.
Why a scooter instead of a hire car?
For a couple or solo traveller: a scooter is cheaper (from €25/day versus often €60+/day for a car), moto parking is free, and the old town’s narrow streets are accessible. A car wins with 4+ people or lots of luggage.
What if the scooter breaks down during the ride?
Call or WhatsApp us immediately: +34 919 899 967 or +34 634 09 61 47. If anyone is injured, call 112 first. In Alicante and served coastal zones we send a replacement or pick you up, usually within 45 minutes. Mobile coverage is good everywhere.
How does the Tabarca trip work with the scooter, exactly?
Ride about 30 minutes to Santa Pola harbour, park in a moto bay by the quay and take the ferry (about 15 minutes; scooters are not allowed on board). Last return boat: 18:00 in summer, 17:00 in winter — check the timetable. Allow 4–5 hours in total.
Do you discount long-term rentals (1–4 weeks)?
Yes. The longer you keep the scooter, the lower the daily rate (live tiers via /api/pricing). From €25/day as a floor. For 2+ weeks, especially October–March, WhatsApp us for a quote. Many guests stay 4–8 weeks.
