Can I rent a 125cc scooter with only a car (B) licence?

What documents do I need to pick up the scooter?
Your passport or national ID card, and your original driving licence (front and back). We recommend sending photos of both by WhatsApp in advance so we can confirm everything before you arrive.

Can I ride the scooter outside Alicante, for example to Tabarca?
Yes — the Costa Blanca coast, including Santa Pola (departure point for the Tabarca ferry), El Campello and Villajoyosa, is easily reachable by scooter from Alicante.
Do you deliver the scooter to my hotel or the airport?
Currently, pickup and drop-off happen only at our central Alicante location — we don't deliver to the airport or the port, since scooter rental insurance doesn't cover those zones. The airport is about 20 minutes away by bus or taxi.
Is it safe to ride a scooter in Alicante's traffic?
Alicante's city centre is manageable even for less experienced riders. Our Kymco Skytown 125 has ABS brakes and automatic transmission. We provide a full helmet and hi-vis vest, and walk you through the scooter before you leave.
What's the minimum age to rent a 125cc scooter?
21 years old, the standard minimum required by insurers for 125cc rentals in Spain.
Can I rent a scooter for just one day?
Yes, our minimum rental is 1 day at €50. The daily rate drops the longer you keep the scooter.
What happens if the scooter breaks down or I have an accident?
Contact us immediately by phone or WhatsApp. If anyone is injured, call 112 first. Don't leave the scooter unattended unless necessary, and gather details if it's an accident.
Scooter, bike or car — what's the best way to explore Alicante?
For a solo traveller or a couple, a scooter beats a car on parking, price and flexibility, and covers far more ground than a bicycle — useful once you want to reach San Juan beach, El Campello or further along the coast.
